Mission acomplished! Happy students and happy companies. Moisés and I had the chance to go with some students to their internship companies. We were so happy to see them working hard and settling into German life. They are going to be there for ten weeks learning new skills and gaining knowledge. For example, Iván, who is going to work in Bayer, Leverkusen, will develop some new features for an application which is used in the company. He will work in a professional environment in the Bayer Computer Division. Antonio  Antonio Mota and José María García are going to work in REWE which is one of the biggest supermarket companies in Germany. They will work in the IT branch and will work on an application which monitors all the computers of the company. In addition they will develop some software in Java language.  The rest of the students will work in companies related with IT developing software. We hope this opportunity will be a good experience for their future careers.  ENJOY!!

First week

Hello!

I´m José Alberto, a student who is in Germany with scholarship Erasmus, i will write my first impressions of Germany and the company where i am (Streitz Consult GmbH).

I´m living in a rental flat on Brühl, a village of Köln, when you have everything you need all things are really close, for example my company is 15/20 minutes by feet from the flat.

I live with Nacho and Juan, we are on differents companys but we try organize all of us to have a good coexistence.

In the company, I am modifying the css to their page to make more beatifull for the costumers.

The first day, all of the student who are living here in köln, go to visit the city and we can saw the cathedral, the Rhine river and the famous bridge with candades. I put a photo of this birdge.

On thursday, we said good bye to our teachers who stay with us this first week.

Destination Cologne

Next Sunday 14th April, 10 of our students from IES Campanillas who are studing their second year of Higher Level Vocational Training in Web Applications Developer will go to do their training period of 10 weeks to Cologne in Germany throug the Erasmus Program.

Their names are: Alejandro, José María, Juan, Sofía, José Alberto, Nacho, Yren, Iván, Rubén and Mota.

They will do their internship  in several companies in the Cologne area like:
Rewe, Bayer, Talanx Systems, Bull, Datagroup, Max Planck Institute, Streitz Consult, Europäische Fachhochschule.

Throug this blog, all of them will write about their daily experiences at the company, at the city, in their accommodation, and more....

We wish all of them the best. This is a great oportunity to obtain great profesional and personal experience. And who knows if the begining of a work career in Germany.
